VINEYARDS: Occhetti
VINIFICATION: : traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a long maceration of about 25 days.
AGEING: 60 months in oak barrels.
BOTTLE AGEING: 24 months with controlled temperature.
COLOUR: deep garnet
PARFUME: the nose is aromatic, concentrated, elegant, fine, slightly tight and a bit powerful. It reveals notes of wild berries, blackberries, racy minerality and Bigarreau cherry associated with small notes of garrigue, wild strawberry, a touch of toasted oak as well as a hint of gray pepper, sage/dry local forest soil and spices.
TASTE: the palate is fruity, fresh, mineral (beautiful minerality), weel-balanced, racy, complex and offers a small tension, suavity, a beautiful juiciness, finesse, precision as well as a beautifull elegance. On the palate this wine espresse notes of juicy black-berry, ripe/juicy wild red berries and small notes of wild strawberry, cherry, a touches of spices, a subtle hint o sage/rosemary, an imperceptible touch of pepper and chocolate. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length.
ALCOHOL: 14 % Vol.
Bottle size: 0,75 l
Serve at a temperature of 16-18° C.

PODERI MORETTI is a historic winery, result of the union of families Occhetti and Moretti, already present in Piedmont, Roero Area, since 1630.
The winery is conducted directly by the owner Francesco Moretti, supported by his daughter Alessandra, his son Riccardo and a team of capable employees for the management of all vineyards and wine making operations.
Skilful workmanship respecting tradition combined with avant-garde oenological techniques allow us to produce fine wines from Alba, Langhe and Roero, which have won awards in international wine competitions.
