VINIFICATION: traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a long maceration of about 25 days.
AGEING: 36 months in big oak barrels.
COLOUR: deep garnet
PARFUME: the nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and offers power as well as generosity. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, fresh wild raspberry and small notes of cassis, elderberries combined with hints of olive tree, laurel, black olive, racy minerality, dry local forest soil as well as slight hints of spices
TASTE: he palate is fruity, elegant and offers juiciness, suavity, a beautiful
structure as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of
ripe/juicy redcurrant, ripe wild berries, bigarreau cherry and wild raspberry combined with fine/discreet touches of spices, garrigue, fleshy black olive, sweet spices as well as a touch of nutmeg, tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of dry local forest. Tannins are fine and elegant. Fine chews on the persistence. Beautiful and gourmande persistence.

PODERI MORETTI is a historic winery, result of the union of families Occhetti and Moretti, already present in Piedmont, Roero Area, since 1630.
The winery is conducted directly by the owner Francesco Moretti, supported by his daughter Alessandra, his son Riccardo and a team of capable employees for the management of all vineyards and wine making operations.
Skilful workmanship respecting tradition combined with avant-garde oenological techniques allow us to produce fine wines from Alba, Langhe and Roero, which have won awards in international wine competitions.
