OLEIFICIO SANT'ANNA - TRAPANESE PESTO
Trapanese pesto is one of the versions of Sicilian pesto, the typical version of the province of Trapani. Simple and very effective condiment on the gustatory level, it can be used both to season pasta and also to make excellent bruschetta. The ingredients of the pesto are simple and typical of the Sicilian territory: tomatoes, garlic, abundant extra virgin olive oil, shelled almonds, a nice bunch of basil, salt and pecorino (of your choice) only if you like. Indissoluble is the combination with busiate, a typical pasta from the western side of Sicily, which has always been the companion of this simple and at the same time “unique” condiment.
