VINEYARDS: Montevada
VINIFICATION: traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a long
maceration of about 15 days.
AGEING: 18 months in french barriques.
BOTTLE AGEING: 6 months with controlled temperature.
COLOUR: : deep ruby red, with garnet highlight.
PARFUME: : the nose is aromatic, racy and offers a fine gourmandise as well as a fine complexity. It reveals notes of ripe/juicy red berries, cherry and small notes of wild blackberry combined with hints of chocolate, nutmeg and sweet spices.
TASTE: the palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, precise and offers a fine suavity, a small straightness as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild red berries, ripe wild raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with hints of fleshy small black fruits, chocolate, thyme/olive, racy minerality as well as a very discreet hint of saline minerality and subtle hints of sweet spice. Tannins are fine and a bit young. Good length.
ALCOHOL: 14% Vol.
Bottle size: 0,75 l
Serve at a temperature of 16-18° C.

PODERI MORETTI is a historic winery, result of the union of families Occhetti and Moretti, already present in Piedmont, Roero Area, since 1630.
The winery is conducted directly by the owner Francesco Moretti, supported by his daughter Alessandra, his son Riccardo and a team of capable employees for the management of all vineyards and wine making operations.
Skilful workmanship respecting tradition combined with avant-garde oenological techniques allow us to produce fine wines from Alba, Langhe and Roero, which have won awards in international wine competitions.
