Riso della Sardegna since 1951 operates within an area of over 3,300 hectares dedicated to rice production. Thanks to the proximity to the sea, the sunny and windy climate, several varieties of high quality rice are produced in the Oristano area. The traditional stone milling process, combined with the skillful art of rice husking in mortars, handed down for generations, allows to obtain an excellent quality rice that satisfies the most difficult of culinary needs.
