Balocco is the story of a family that, for three generations, has been dedicated to making life sweeter for millions of consumers around the world. In 1927 the first pastry shop was opened in Fossano, Piedmont. In 1949, the first factory was opened for the production of artisanal pastries and cakes. In 1969, production was transferred to a new factory, also in Fossano, the company's current headquarters. Expansion and growth continued and today, with 74,000 square metres, Balocco is the second player in the Italian breakfast biscuits and seasonal cakes market.
