In 1938 Brothers Giovanni and Felice Colavita established a small olive mill in the village of Sant’Elia a Pianisi. Driven by a strong ambition, they continuously expanded their business and within ten years operated their first industrial olive press.
Colavita manufactures and markets a range of extra-virgin, refined and flavored olive oils as well as a comprehensive assortment of balsamic vinegar, vegetable paté and vegetable preserved in oil.
Approximately 80% of Colavita’s business is generated in export involving more than 60 countries throughout the world.
