SWEET AND SAVOURY SNACKS
The history of San Carlo is one of the great stories of family-run Italian food companies: established in 1936 as a rotisserie, in the heart of Milan, naming it after the nearby San Carlo al Lazzaretto church. The “Rosticceria San Carlo” became famous for a specialty at the time, “crispy potato chips” (thin slices potatoes, fried and sprinkled with salt). In the years it continued to grow extending its range of products: savoury snacks, baked products and sweets. Today San Carlo led by the third generation of the founder’s family and it’s market leader in Italy in potato chips market.
