The history of Sorrentino began in 1982, when the owner, Mr. Giovanni Sorrentino, began a craft production of meats and cured meats, continuing and implementing the family business: the trade in pigs. In 1986 the first industrial establishment for slaughtering and processing fresh pork was opened and at the same time a production unit for cured meats. Nowadays, in the modern 12.000sqm, pork, beef and sheep meat is slaughtered and typical salami is produced in another wing.
