The Salumieri of Castel Castagna is a company specialized in the production of excellent sausages and hams,active for over 35 years.
It is one of the few farms in Italy with a complete chain,because the meat used are derived from a herd of pigs owned, situated on the slopes of the Gran Sasso D'Italia. In june 2013 was inaugurated the new plant of about 5000 square meters.

The origin of the company dates 1958, when the two founding partners, Rocco and Enzo, began to butcher artisanally and in a rather precarious structure, two to three pigs a week. Through the years the activity developed both on the side of the markets served and on the side of the sources of supply. The company today covers an area of 3,800 square meters covered and develops three production lines employing 20 people. The company caters to retailers, wholesalers, large-scale distribution, Ho.Re.Ca., gastronomies and other industries by serving the national and foreign market.
