It has a sow park of 500 animals, and produces an average of 12,000 pigs per year. The reproduction system takes place exclusively through artificial insemination, carried out by a specialized technician, with the help of a nucleus of reproducers in selection of the highest genealogy. Since 30 September 2013, the Ministry of Health has accredited the meat and charcuterie production plant to export to Japan, unique for southof Italy.
