SALVAGNO, a well-known oil press establishment in the hilly outskirts of Verona ( Nesente valpantena), owes its success chiefly to its most desirable situation and climatic conditions. In these lovely hills Salvagno experiments with and breeds special olive varieties, from which sweet, but tasty oil with a delicate almondy aftertaste is cold-pressed by traditional processing systems. Since 1923 the firm has been producing oil according to the same handicraft methods for people fond of genuine and healthy food.
