OLEIFICIO SOCIALE COOPERATIVO DI CANINO SOC.COOP.VA AGRICOLA

Società Cooperativa Agricola, founded in 1965, has 1,110 members who cultivate more than 268.000 olive trees in about 3,340 hectares of olive groves, situated in a purely agricultural area in municipal land of Canino and neighboring villages of the province of Viterbo. The olives, protected from parasitic attacks with integrated pest control technique, are milled in the plants with a daily working capacity of 400 tons. Every year the oil mill processes on average 7.000 tons of olives, from which it obtains 900.000 liters of typical, healthy and high quality Extra Virgin Olive oil.
