LaCasaraRoncolato was founded in 1920, on Brenton’s hills not far from Garda lake, by our grandfather Ermenegildo a professional cheesemaker. In the sixties, his two sons, Romano and Angelo, took the cooperative Cheese factory in Roncà. Today the third generation, the Romano’s sons Gildo, Giovanni and Letizia are managing the artisan cheese business and the family’s pigs farming. They creates superb cheeses: aged or cured, flavoured, from herding mountain cattle milk, cow’s milk, sheep’s milk and goat’s milk and a range of dry-cured cold cuts in respect of the environment, PDO and tradition.
