CASEIFICIO SOCIALE MANCIANO - This Cooperative was founded in 1961 by 21 local farmers whose aim was to valorize the production of sheep-milk in Tuscan Maremma hinterland, in Grosseto province. Nowadays the Caseificio has doubtlessly reached its first aim, gathering 250 producers of sheep- and cow-milk. Caseificio respects age-old traditions while using modern equipments, producing sheep-milk and mixed-milk cheese. Caseificio is able to delight its customers' tables thanks to the fresh taste of the softest cheeses, and the strong taste of the mature ones, as well as its unmistakable ricotta.
